It more or less is sponsored by Sears, and all the other advertisers, but I agree with Carl. It's pretty cool that they can help these people in need. Is it really that bad of a concept. Yes, it makes Sears look great, but also helps people out. If everyone in the world would help out others, even if only to make themselves look great, the world would be a much better place right? I really don't see anything wrong with it.
Carl, did you see the one when they redid that ladie's house that gave bone marrow, and saved a little girls life that she didn't even know? From what I understand, bone marrow giving is very painful, and she did it, then the lady who's little girl was saved because of it, got ahold of extreme makeover, and told the story.
Then to top it off, they had never met, and the show introduced them at the end. my wife and I were both bawling....
